This beautiful song is amazing! I am so happy that they wrote it. Thanks to the Chris Low Band.
I am so excited to begin working on my new venture. My background in design began in 1987 and expanded over the years. It’s exciting that I am going to expand my skills even more.
I’m combining my computer graphic skills with my multimedia artwork to create something new. Now my visions will be more tangible than just a computer screen or printed page.
When I complete some projects, I’ll be sure to post pictures.
Have a wonderful day!!!
Well, I like my new hair color and style. The color is platinum on top and dark brown around my face and underneath. No pictures today….
I thinks that it’s time I have fun with my hair!
We all know that lead is toxic and we should never allow our children to eat paint. Paint from old houses and contaminated soil are the cause of many children having brain damage and learning disabilities.
I was very disturbed when I found out that several major brands of lipstick contain lead.
“Dr. Elizabeth Ayoub, biomolecular and medical is issued an alert for lipsticks containing lead, which is a carcinogen. Recently the brand ‘Red Earth’ decreased prices of R $ 67.00 to R $ 9.90! Why? Because it contained lead.”
Lead will also damage your brain and poison you. I wonder why Red Earth did not issue a recall for their dangerous product, and why they kept SELLING IT?
The brands that contain lead are:
CLINIQUE
ESTÉE LAUDER
SHISEIDO
RED EARTH (Lip Gloss)
CHANEL (Lip Conditioner)
MARK AMERICA
MOTIVES
LIPSTICK
AVON
The higher the lead content, the greater the risk. After doing a test on lipsticks, the highest level of lead was in AVON.
TEST YOUR LIPSTICK FOR LEAD:
1. Put some lipstick on your hand;
2. Rub a gold ring on this lipstick;
3. If the lipstick color changes to black, then you know that it contains lead.
PSALM 23
A Psalm of David
King James Version
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Amen
Among the things that I learn everyday is that you should not lay your black phone on a black sofa. It makes it very difficult to find.
WOW! I learned more about myself today. #1 I have known for a long time that I talk more when I’m nervous… a lot more. Today while having lunch with a friend I noticed that each time she brought up a stressful situation that she is going through, I jumped in “talking” thinking that I am being supportive. This wonderful woman is one of the most competent and wise people I know. She doesn’t need me to “fix” anything or give her my opinions or solutions.
To tell you the truth, I know better than to do this. I just seem to suck at conversations.
Well, I plan to change that. My friends and family will just have to accept the quieter me.
My personal history shows that I am great at caring for others. Why don’t I take good care of me?
There is absolutely nothing to stop me from eating healthy foods, doing the DDP Yoga routines, meditating and getting adequate sleep every day. I know in my head that this is a great way to feel good and be healthy. Why don’t I grab life and do the things that will make me feel good?
DDP Yoga is a great DVD that provides a great workout for any level of fitness. I’m glad that I have the DVD set. I am just not doing it every day like I want. To tell the truth, I’m not even doing it 3 times a week.
I like being outside, but honestly, I’m not sure what to do for fun outdoors. I don’t play sports. My friends and family aren’t very active either.
These are some of the questions in my mind today. I’m very open to hearing the answers.
I know I eat too much candy and sweets. I know that sugar in the quantities that I eat is bad for me. But it tastes SO GOOD!
I decided to give up candy and desserts for starters. I’ll post how I’m doing as I go along.
